I am always running: running after the kids, running around looking for my keys, running late for an appointment, or running for the pure heck of it. No matter the errands or how mundane they may seem to me, like making another peanut butter and jelly sandwich, to others, especially my two children, it may be the most significant work of art yet. So even when no one is watching I try my best, run like a mother and go to bed every night knowing I accomplished something great.

My husband is a faker
Last night was not a good night. My 8-month-old was up all night long. She must be teething, again, because nothing could soothe her and no one could comfort her but me. Although, I was the only one trying. It always amazes me that I am the only one who hears a crying infant at night. Or, is it that my husband pretends not to hear. He is a faker: his eyes are shut tight, he faces away from me and all snoring stops. On most nights, he is in my face sawing logs. His snoring causes such disruption that I have sworn to send him right to the sleep lab for tests. His snoring has gotten so bad that I have cried at night out of pure frustration, or we spend most nights playing musical beds. So, get it together hubby. You don't fool me for a second.

I DID send my hubby to a sleep lab about three to four years ago. It turned out that he did have mild sleep apnea. Now he sleeps with a CPAP machine, which makes a low humming noise, similar to the sound of a humidifier or fan. It is white noise that is easy to sleep with! We both sleep much better, and he wakes feeling more rested.
A tonsillectomy did wonders for my husband's snoring. If your hubby has already had one, I'd send him to the sleep lab, pronto.
Either that, or set him up on the couch ;)
Preferably in one of the kids' rooms.
In front of their door :D
